PRESS RELEASE
2006 Official Partners

The Old Flying Machine Company are delighted to announce that diecast model makers ‘Sky Guardians’ will become Official Partners for the 2006 Airshow season.

OFMC have a very busy airshow season lined up with hectic schedules in place for their P51-D Mustang “Ferocious Frankie’ and arguably Britain’s most famous Supermarine Spitfire, MH434.

Sky Guardians, whose stunning collection of 1:72 scale diecast models have raised the level in diecast models since their introduction last year, have described the partnership as a “Real Honour”

To celebrate this partnership a very special Spitfire and Mustang release will be unveiled at the AirSpace Airshow at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, on Sunday May 21st 2006.

“This partnership provides much needed revenue for the continuing costs of operating these classic Warbirds” commented OFMC Operations Manager Laura Wetton. “Each year the challenge becomes increasingly difficult as fuel and insurance costs continue to climb”. For Sky Guardians, it has given them the opportunity to ‘give back’ just something to an organisation that has done so much for the Warbird community for the last 25 years.

“We are deeply thrilled, and honoured that we have become Official Partners for the Old Flying Machine Company in 2006” explained Robert Cass, Director of Sky Guardians “Especially in this, the Spitfires 70th anniversary year.”

Several exciting and truly unique releases are planned for this year to commemorate this partnership. For more information and to register your interest please visit www.mh434.com or www.sky-guardians.com
